A color study for a larger piece, “I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes.” I had a vision of this color palette that struck me out of nowhere (I think I was making the bed?) and it’s perfect for my ode to the layers and layers of the Canyon I love.
This study is 8x8 inches on my first hand-stretched canvas.
