I've always loved this color combination. It feels luxurious and exotic and rich to me. I've always associated it with the cold-blooded independence of reptiles, somewhere deep in my psyche. I had the privilege of caring for two gentle giant Red Tailed Boas when I was in high school - they were so fun and such gorgeous animals!
