A portrait of Jesus, drawn in pencil on tracing paper adhered to a heavily textured rust-and-brown background. The tracing paper is painted over across his bare shoulders, and out of his third eye in gold paint. His eyes are painted over in white, with no pupils or irises visible.
The opening of the third eye represents enlightenment. I choose to depict The crucified Christ with His third eye open, his extra-humanness, his Divinity, made obvious and apparent. The crucified Christ is a man with no pretense, full of humility and glory; He is what He is.
