Chico, California will always have a piece of my heart. My husband and I met in Paradise, got married, then moved away for school and career for several years, and through a set of unhappy circumstances, found a soft landing back in the arms of our hometown where we’ve since happily recovered! The colors in this painting bring me joy and comfort and remind me of our long, blazing hot summers and cool, brief winters here in Chico.
