The Sabbat Series

When I first discovered the Wheel of the Year, it felt like coming home. Even though I’m not Wiccan, I created this Sabbat series as my own way to embody and meditate on their Wheel of the Year because I appreciated the seasonal awareness and spiritual messages it gave me. Each piece features a Goddess who corresponds with the Sabbat, or the Spirit of the Season as I interpret it. The originals are made with acrylic on canvas with tracing paper drawings for the figures.
